Move over, Apple! Appearing in a Super Bowl ad is the homerun of promotions, and IRgA member Eastern Engineering is now rounding the bases. The company is not buying an ad for themselves during the big game, but rather they are featured in an ad for their bank, Star Financial.
The 30-second TV ad will start running in February and it will appear in the Indiana market during the Super Bowl, according to Eastern Engineering CEO Mark Langdon. The ad series also includes a print ad in Indianapolis Monthly magazine.
“The filming/shooting for this ad took place back in September,” Langdon says. “The ad centered around three generations of women in the Langdon family running Eastern Engineering Supply. In the print ad (right), my mother is on the right, wife in the center and daughter on the left. Our banker, Trent Dowling, is on the far left.”
