Are you missing face-to-face interactions with fellow reprographers? But don’t want to crowd into a giant convention center for a trade show? APDSP offers a solution: We’re planning three, small regional meetings in 2022.
Each meeting will begin with a cocktail reception on a Thursday evening, and then include a full day of education/networking on Friday. The focus of the event will be “Powering Your Sales.”
Friday will begin with a networking breakfast and a half-day presentation about improving your sales techniques by Dave Fellman, a veteran print sales trainer. Then we’ll enjoy lunch, followed by two panel discussions led by APDSP members. The first panel will piggyback on Fellman’s presentation and include from-the-trenches stories about sales techniques being used at reprographics shops. The second panel will be a discussion of new market opportunities members are seeing in their communities.
Attendees will leave inspired by new ideas and motivated to expand their business. And they’ll connect with fellow reprographers in a real – not virtual – format. Best of all the meetings will be intimate; we plan on only 12-15 attendees at each location. The dates and locations are as follows:
Denver, March 24-25
Chicago, April 7-8
Boston, May 5-6
Hotels have been chosen for quality, interesting location, and fair price. We’re still wrapping up the contracts so stay tuned for hotel details and prices.
Early-bird pricing will be just $125 for APDSP members (if more than one person from a member firm comes, the subsequent attendees will pay just $75 each). The non-member fee will be $300 per person. The fee will include the Thursday night reception and the Friday meals and education.
If you would like to join one of the two panel discussions – from-the-trenches sales stories or new market opportunities -- please let Ed Avis know (ed.avis@apdsp.org). If you’re selected, we’ll chop $75 off your fee.
A limited number of vendor sponsorships at $1,000 each also are available. The sponsors will receive their logo on signage and promotions, a 15-minute speaking slot, and the opportunity to mingle with attendees. Contact Ed Avis (ed.avis@apdsp.org) for details.
