What services will your reprographics shop offer in the coming years to maximize your success? Probably some of those services will be connected to the “intelligent job site,” the technology-driven construction sites that are becoming more and more common.
That technology, and what role reprographics shops can play in it, will be the focus of the 2017 APDSP Convention in New Orleans on October 11-12. The event will be held concurrently with SGIA, so a trip to the Big Easy could include time at both events.
Here are details:
Networking Reception: The event will begin with a casual networking reception in the evening of October 11. This reception, which will be free, will allow members to say hello to old friends and mingle with new acquaintances.
Job Site University: October 12 will feature a day-long version of “Job Site University.” This educational event will include demonstrations, presentations, and panel discussions about the high-tech job sites of today, and how reprographics shops can offer services to the contractors involved in such projects. Among the topics covered may be laser scanning, virtual reality, immersive technologies, interactive technology, mobility solutions, and more. This program will be led by experts including Keith Cox of Synnex and Ron Perkins of Jobsite Tech Group.
Registration Cost: The early-bird registration cost (prior to July 1) for the day of education will be $125 for APDSP members and $199 for non-members; prices will jump to $199 and $250 respectively after July 1. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided.
Hotel: The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans on Canal Street. The discounted rate for attendees is $199 per night.
