The first APDSP Virtual Roundtable, held January 28, fostered free-ranging conversation among five APDSP members. The members, located in non-competing geographic areas, logged in via GoToMeeting. There was no set agenda or pre-determined topics - the conversation was designed to emulate a face-to-face meeting over coffee or drinks.
The topics included:
- Finding new employees; different recruitment strategies
- Managing salespeople; how to motivate salespeople and make sure they are doing the job
- Tips for getting your foot in the door on sales calls
- Online storefronts; what software shops are using for it and why
- Business management; what MIS systems people are using.
