Steve and Sarah Sogan
APDSP is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Sogan, director of business development for Sepialline. Steve was a true friend of APDSP and the reprographics industry as a whole, and he will be greatly missed.
"I had the opportunity to speak with Steve many times at industry events and over the phone over the past decade, and I was always impressed with his easy-going manner, enthusiasm for the industry, and interest in how technology impacts reprographics," says Ed Avis, APDSP managing director. "I will miss our interactions, and I express the association's deep condolences to his family and co-workers."
Here is the announcement about Steve's passing from his colleagues at Sepialine:
It is with a heavy heart to share that Steve Sogan passed away on July 25, 2020, from medical complications at age 45. He was a loving husband to Sarah and father to two beautiful children Avery (13) and Mary (11). In all that he did, Steve brought a level of energy, drive and optimism that was contagious to all those around him.
Steve's kindness, sense of humor, his enjoyment of dressing up in funny costumes, and his love for meaningful conversations (about a variety of topics) were all aspects of his character that will be remembered forever. Steve had the ability to make you laugh, make you think and always make you have fun.
Steve served the community as an assistant coach for the Evergreen High School wrestling team. His contribution and leadership have been instrumental to the successes within the EHS community. All of the kids loved and respected 'big brother.'
Steve made countless friendships throughout the printing industry, which he worked in for over two decades at Xerox, InDox Services, and Sepialine. His enthusiasm and empathy for others shined brightly through his day-to-day interactions with co-workers, partners, and customers in his role as Director of Business Development, which he held at Sepialine for the past 12 years.
We want to show our love and support to Sarah and the kids during this difficult time and in their journey ahead. Please donate what you can and forward this GoFundMe to those who knew Steve. All collected funds will be given directly to Sarah and the kids.
