The 2018 APDSP Convention will be held October 19-20 in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel. Social media for reprographics shops and new marketing ideas will be the focus points of the educational portion of the event.

Media for Reprographics Shops. This will be a hands-on, 100 percent practical social media tutorial designed specifically for reprographics shops. Attendees will be asked to bring their own laptops or tablets to the event, so they can get their hands into the dirt! This will not be some boring speech full of platitudes and buzzwords – attendees will learn the nuts and bolts of maximizing their Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages. The workshop will be led by Carrie Brandon, an interactive marketing expert who recently led the APDSP webinar about search engine optimization for reprographics shops, and who counts reprographics-related businesses among her firm’s clients. Come ready to learn!
On Saturday afternoon the education will continue with a panel discussion featuring three APDSP member firms who have succeeded with profitable new markets. They will explain how they tapped these markets, what equipment and skills they needed to acquire, and how they market these services today.
The second Saturday afternoon session will include presentations from Canon Solutions, HP, and others about programs they have developed to help you build your business. You will learn how to tap into the resources of these vendors to maximize your profit.
The final educational event of the convention will be an presentation of a new research project designed to identify the top marketing ideas among reprographics shops. This presentation will be based on surveys and interviews with APDSP members with successful marketing programs. This will be a great opportunity for attendees to learn about marketing concepts that have been proven among reprographics shops.
